Real questions, real answers.
These are the questions prospects ask us most. If yours isn't here, just ask. We answer real emails within one business day.
What does it cost, and what am I really paying for?
How does BHD pricing compare to Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy templates?
You can absolutely get a template site for $50 a month, and many of our clients started there. The reason they came to us is that the $50 template stops scaling the moment they need real lead capture, real SEO, or anyone outside their immediate network to find them.
Our Starter Site is $699 once plus $59 per month, and that includes the SEO setup, hosting, security, and the maintenance you would otherwise be doing yourself. After 12 months you have spent about the same as Wix Pro, but you have a site built for your business instead of a template.

Why is your hosting more than basic hosting providers?
Their hosting is just hosting: server space and a domain. Ours includes ongoing maintenance, content updates, security patches, bug fixes, and someone who actually answers when something breaks.
If you compare it to "hosting plus a part-time webmaster," it is a fraction of the cost. If you do not need that ongoing support, we can talk about a setup-only option.
I just need a logo. Do I have to buy a bigger package?
Not at all. We do logos as a one-time $350 project, with 3 concepts and 2 revision rounds.
If you decide later that you want the full brand foundation (color palette, font guide, usage rules), we credit the logo work toward the $650 Brand Identity Package. Start with what you need, build out when you are ready.
I'm not sure which package fits. Where should I start?
Most people are not sure, and that is exactly why we offer the Strategy Bundle at $549 (Competitive Analysis plus Business Consulting, save $99).
We look at your competition, talk through your goals, and give you a written 90-day roadmap that tells you which package actually fits, or whether to wait. It is the cleanest first step and the best $549 you can spend before building anything.
See Lane 1 (Strategy) for details.
How does this actually work?
How long does a website typically take?
Starter Site (8 pages): about 1 week.
Growth Site (12 pages): 1 to 2 weeks.
Premium Site (25 pages): depends on complexity, scoped at the discovery call.
The thing that slows projects down is content from your side: copy, photos, decisions on what to include. We have built a content checklist that makes that part painless. If you can give us a few hours over the first week, we can get a Starter Site live in 7 days.
Do I have to write all the content myself?
No. We can write site copy for you. It is included in the Premium Site and available as an add-on for Starter and Growth.
For SEO blog content, that is built into our Climb and Dominate SEO plans (2 or 4 posts a month, written for you).
What if I want to make changes after the site is live?
That is what monthly hosting covers: content updates, photo swaps, page tweaks, bug fixes. You email or text us and we handle it.
Major redesigns or new pages are a small additional fee, but day-to-day updates are included in your monthly plan.
Who owns what, and how do I know I can trust BHD?
Do I own the website when you're done?
Yes. The final website, logo, brand assets, and any content we write for you are yours. We do not lock anyone into long-term contracts. Hosting and SEO are month to month and cancellable anytime.
If we built it for you, you own it.
How do I know BHD will still be around in a year?
Fair question. BHD has been operating since 2008, more than 20 years. Janice and David are both co-owners and full-time on the business as part of their long-term plan.
Our 15 current client websites have been with us for years, including the entire Crossover Community Impact network (17 organizations and programs). We can introduce you to a current client at the same stage you are at if that helps.
Can I see examples of your work?
Absolutely. Our Portfolio page features named engagements (Crossover Prep, Crossover Health Services, ProofLayer, Party of the Year Tulsa, Jack and Jill of Tulsa, The Barnabas Fellowship, Hearth & Village, SuccessBridgeGlobal) plus sanitized case snapshots from confidential work.
If none of those match what you are building, the free demo is the fastest way to see what your specific site would look like.
What is it actually like to work with you?
What's the free demo? Is there really no obligation?
Yes. We are confident enough in our work that we will design a demo of your site for free. No payment, no contract, no obligation.
If you do not love it, you pay nothing. If you do, we talk about which package fits and move forward together. Request your free demo here.
We're a non-profit. Do you handle our type of work?
Yes, and it is a significant part of what we do. BHD currently manages the websites for the entire Crossover Community Impact network (17 organizations and programs) plus other Tulsa-area non-profits, faith communities, and ministries.
If you need grant-friendly project quotes, we can scope and price the work so you have a fixed-price line item for grant requests. If your board needs to see ROI before approval, the Competitive Analysis at $299 is exactly what they need to see.
How does AI fit into what you build?
What's the Executive Intelligence Assistant? Is it for me?
The Executive Intelligence Assistant (EIA) is a custom AI executive assistant we build for business owners who want to duplicate their expertise without duplicating their effort. Not a chatbot. Not a generic ChatGPT wrapper. A configured executive assistant trained on your business, your voice, and our 16-lens strategic framework.
It is for owners who are running too many things and need an assistant who thinks like the CEO. Read the full EIA page for what is included and how the lenses work.
Is AI part of the deliverables you build?
Yes, in several specific places. We offer AI Industry Headshots (studio-quality professional photos without a photoshoot), AI Promo Video Clips (15 to 30 second branded video with script, captions, and music), and the Executive Intelligence Assistant as a standalone offering.
For website builds, we use AI selectively to accelerate content production, design exploration, and content scoring. The strategy, judgment, and final creative direction stay with Janice and David. AI is a tool, not the artist.
